The Forum aims to:

* Actively involve members about issues of shared concern

* Ensure the voluntary sector is consulted about work to improve the lives of children and families in Bromley

* Keep Members informed of issues and developments of interest to the children, young people, youth leaders, and parents and carers they represent

* Inform the Bromley Children and Young People Trust and other statutory agencies of the outcome of its consultations

 

The Forum Membership is divided into 8 Link Groups:

* Early Years Link
* Faith Link
* Black and Minority Ethnic Link
* Parent Link
* Looked after Children/Vulnerable Link
* Disability Link
* Children Link

Each Link group has a representative on our committee. Committee members serve for a year and stand for election at the AGM

Membership of the Forum is free

* You will be consulted on matters concerning children and young people

* You will regularly recieve information about training available to the voluntary sector

* You will be notified of funding opportunities

* You will be invited to attend our 4 open meetings each year at which we invite speakers from both the statutory and voluntary sector
